Hi, I’m Muyiwa Ogundare, and I built PaylaterHotelsUSA.
I started this site after noticing how often “flexible” hotel booking got buried under confusing fine print — non-refundable rates presented as the default, pay-at-hotel options hidden a few clicks deep, and cancellation terms that were hard to find until it was too late. Travelers were losing money or getting stuck with bookings they couldn’t change, simply because the option to pay later wasn’t clearly laid out anywhere.
So I set out to build a straightforward directory: one place where you can see, city by city, which hotels actually offer “book now, pay later” or flexible-payment options — without digging through a dozen listings to find the fine print yourself.
What I do here
I research and organize hotel listings across the US, checking for flexible payment and cancellation policies, and I keep the information updated as hotel policies change. Every listing links out to the actual booking platform (like Booking.com) so you can confirm current rates and terms before you book — I don’t process payments or bookings directly.
Where I work from
I run this site independently from Ikot-Ekpene, Nigeria. It’s just me handling the research, the listings, and the upkeep — no large team, no outsourced content mill.

It doesn’t affect which hotels I list or how I describe their policies — I’m not paid to favor one property over another.
